Meet Star. She is a beautiful 7 year, 60 lb, Labrador Retriever, looking for a great forever home. Star is sweet, smart, and devoted. She is responsive when called, house broken, and crate trained. She gets along great with her two foster brothers and loves to play in the fenced in yard. She is great with people, loves to go for walks and loves to be loved on. Star is your typical sweet lab. However it does take her a little while to warm up to other dogs and she would do better in a home without small children. Sometimes she forgets her size. Star had a mild case of heart worms but has been treated and is all better now. She is spayed, current on all vaccinations, o9n monthly preventative, and will be microchipped. It would be great if someone in her forever home was home most of the day as Star does experience some anxiety when left alone which causes her to bark and try to get out of her crate. This gets better over time and she is doing much better with it now that she has been in her foster home for a while. If you are looking for a wonderful lab to add to your family then you have found her. To learn more about Star please contact Vivienne at email@example.com or 615/943-7311. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?
Our Adoption Process...
Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
