Hi! My name is Captain and I was born in early July. My rescue thinks I am a Lab mix with lots of other things thrown in for good measure. They don’t think I’ll get real big but maybe around 40-50 lbs. I’m incredibly amiable and pretty much love everything about life and everyone I meet. I wag my entire back half which might be why my former family docked my tail (my rescue would never do that). I’ve never experienced a kitty but at my age I’m pretty pliable so I should do fine and I’m also very good with kids. I definitely enjoy playing with my pack mates and will be happy with any other dog(s) too. I’m getting lots of pets and attention and great socializing with people but I need to come home with you to start potty training and learning other rules of living in a household. I hope you like me!!

About Barely Used Pets Glendale

About Our Rescue Group...

We are all all volunteer organization and volunteers receive no compensation for the many hours that we spend creating better futures for the dogs who come our way.

We bring in dogs from over-crowded county shelters as well as strays brought to our organization and provide them with good nutrition and a loving foster home to get them healthy and happy and ready for a permanent family. Our dogs are free to roam indoors and out for most of their day and are very highly socialized with humans and other dogs. We take great pride in the service we provide and have respect for the pets in our care and ensure that they find a home that will be a great fit for both the dog and their family.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Since all of our dogs are in foster care, all meetups are by appointment only and require an adoption application.

Our Adoption Process...

Our adoption fee is $295 which includes spay/neuter, microchip, all vaccinations appropriate for age, deworming, rabies (age appropriate) and heartworm (age appropriate).

We require all potential adopters to return an adoption application and sign a contract upon adoption as a promise to take good care of your new family member. Please see our application at the following link:
