We just received a desperate call for help from a partner shelter in North Carolina. A severely injured female dog came in with a terrible prolapsed vagina. She ... is in terrible pain, and we can't let her languish in a shelter in this condition.
We do not know the cause of her horrendous injuries. We just pray that it was not the result of human abuse, as we have seen hideous acts of sexual abuse in the past in some of these cases.
We are rushing Mindy to a emergency vet for critical medical treatment. Her face is so angelic, she doesn't deserve to suffer, we need to help her. We can really use your support, please go to www.nycsecondchancerescue.org/donate
