When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A3884589 Jack | German Shepherd/Labrador Retriever
A3884589 Jack is a friendly eight-year-old tan neutered male German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix who was turned into the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center by his owners because they moved and made no provisions for him. Weighing 66 lbs, Jack has adorable floppy ears, and his former owners said he is good with small kids. He shows signs of being housebroken and loves to prance around on leash. Jack has a medium energy level and is happy to shake, sit and lie down when asked. He’s a little shy, but he seems to have acclimated to the shelter. Jack has a small facial mass that doesn’t interfere with his handsome looks. Jack is athletic and ready to go, and he’s going to love going on walks with his new family as a devoted indoor pet and companion.
