Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Bolt's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, and good with dogs.

Bolt's Story...
Breed: Terrier / Pug mix
Age: 2 yrs.
Weight: 15 lbs.
Good with dogs: yes
Good with cats: unsure
Good with kids: unsure
Energy level: medium
Good with men/strangers: shy at first
Hypoallergenic: no

Special home requirements or medical: none

Additional info: Bolt was at the shelter too long because he was scared and hiding in the back of his kennel. Although he is a little shy at first, he will warm up quickly and crawl into your lap for kisses. He just needed to get away from the craziness of the shelter into a quiet place to decompress. He does well with other dogs in the home but can be fearful of some dogs when walking on leash and away from his pack. He is crate trained. He doesn't seem to be at all aggressive. We do not recommend him for apartment living because of barking.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bolt, a Encino Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Pug dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Pug for sale in Encino, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Pug dog from a breeder in Encino.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Encino already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Encino breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Pug breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small)/Pug rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Encino paves the way for another one to be saved.
