Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Max the Wonder Dog Can Make Your Home Complete
6-month-old, male, large black-and-tan German Shepherd
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with children: Unknown
Good with cats: Unknown
What a lover boy! Max is truly a wonder. This poor young fellow came to us from Maricopa County
Animal Care & Control, and boy was he sick! He had a pretty bad case of pneumonia, but is finally on the
mend and is ready to find his forever home.
Our volunteers have fallen head over heels love with Max. He’s absolutely the sweetest, most loving dog
you’ll probably ever meet.
He loves his toys, but more importantly, he loves all people. He’s a real charming guy and loves to give
hugs and kisses. He seems to do just fine with other dogs too and would probably enjoy a playmate. We
don’t know how he is with children, but with his sweet disposition, it’s hard to imagine he wouldn’t like
kids.
This prince charming is just a puppy, so he’ll need a family that will be willing to train him and help him
learn how to be the best mannered pooch out there. He’s eager to please, so it should be pretty easy.
He’ll need plenty of activity as he grows to keep him mentally and physically stimulated too.
As always, if you are interested in a Saving Paws dog, you must fill out our
online application
to get the
approval process started. We will only schedule meet and greets with an approved application. All staff
members are volunteers and are not compensated for their time and expenses. Many juggle family and
full-time careers while volunteering at Saving Paws. Please be patient, as sometimes it takes up to 5
days to process an application.
