Phoenix and Lucy here!!!

We are just about to take a nap but before we do, we have an important announcement. We need a family for the holidays!! Well, forever really but we are hoping to spend the holidays with our new family. Like a family that would accidentally, intentionally drop some turkey from the dining room table. Or over there by the sink. Whichever. We aren't super fussy.

We use to make babies for a breeder. Probably because we are so pretty! But maybe because we have the sweetest dispositions. Or because we're very smart. Now we are in a foster home full of people and we have learned THIS IS THE LIFE!!! We are warm, clean, well cared for, and we have discovered the coziest of places up here on this sofa!! It's a great place to snuggle in together, alone or with people!! It's just the best. Is this what we've been missing all our lives?! We are SOLD. We love being house pets. And we are fast learners, we don't potty in the house!!

We have discovered toys and chasing a ball. We are very playful and spunky. We are just the happiest girls now. We are so excited for this new life we've been given!! The only part missing is YOU, our new family. We can't wait to meet you. We dream about you, are you a family of one? Two? Three? Four? Do you have kiddos? Where are you?! We love you already and we can't wait to meet you.

Please, please ask our foster mommy anything you want to know about us. She loves to talk about us.

Love,
Phoenix and Lucy

About Brookline Labrador Retriever Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a labrador retriever rescue that places labs and lab mixes in new homes. We do this because we love the lab breed and want to be sure dogs in need of a new home find the right home for them.

Come Meet Our Pets...

Some , but not all, of our dogs are present at events we attend throughout our coverage areas in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. For the most part, adopters do not meet a dog until they are introduced to the dog they are matched with. This introduction takes place after they have a home visit and are matched with one of our dogs and the meeting is held at a neutral location half way between the dog and the applicant.

Our Adoption Process...

All applicants complete an application and have a home visit before being approved to adopt. Once approved to adopt, they wait to find the right dog for their family. They are required to sign a pre-adoptive agreement and keep the dog they are matched with for a 3 week pre-adoptive period. If all goes well during that period, they sign an adoption agreement and adopt the dog. The fees vary depending on the age and altered status of the dog. We do require all dogs to be altered if they are not already and require obedience training as well
