Blue is a 3yr old Bluetick Coonhound. He is an awesome dog who hasn't had the best luck in finding a forever home. His last adopters loved him but had personal things going on that made them unable to care for him anymore, it had nothing to do with him. Below is a note from his owners.

A NOTE FROM BLUE's previous owners
Blue is all Hound!! He still is in his adolescence which has a longer transition period for Blue Ticks. At around 3 years old he has grown into a handsome and powerful boy with a lot of puppy like qualities and charm. He is great with all people and dogs. We do not have cats but again we were told at time of adoption, he tolerates them. He is not a very vocal Hound but when he does Bay- you will not doubt he is all Hound. He is crate trained and house broken, but prefers to be outdoors as much as possible. He will steal food left unattended if you are not paying attention which we were working on. When he is outside his nose is to the ground and loves to run; when he is indoors he just wants to be loved and lounge (preferable on the couch or bed!). Blue is also microchipped and neutered.
