Melanie's Story...
I'm Melanie, I was rescued from the Redlands of Florida by my awesome foster-mom, Kathryn, with my son, Sullivan. He was adopted a little while ago and now that he's safe it's Mom's turn!
I don't know exactly how old I am, maybe 2 ? Not much older. I've heard Kathryn say I'm a beautiful Blue Pitbull. I love people, old people, young people. middle people, you name, it I like people. Animals, not so much. When you have had to fend for you and your kids in the wild for months competing for food, you really don't want any other animals around.
I love to play with toys and cuddle, I'm big on cuddling. I'd love an active family with big kids that would play with then cuddle with me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Melanie, a Englewood American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Englewood, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Englewood.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Englewood already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Englewood breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Englewood paves the way for another one to be saved.
