M, 7 y/o, 45 lbs Lab mix Neutered Charley is an amazingly sweet boy who loves cuddling with you, being pet, and is friendly around humans and dogs alike. He loves company and will follow you around the house - a true joy! HISTORY: Charley was a stray who ended up on the "urgent" list (less than 24 hours to live) at the city's super-high kill-shelter. He was underweight and heartworm positive but our awesome fosters and vet treated and took care him while he recuperated back to good health!

ADOPTION Our adoptable pups are up to date on shots, spayed/neutered, and fully vetted! If you are interested in meeting this pup (meet n' greet) to foster or adopt, please submit an application via our adoption form: Application (to Meet n' Greet & Adopt):

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Charley, a Cleveland Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Cleveland, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Cleveland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cleveland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cleveland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cleveland paves the way for another one to be saved.
