Rayne's Story...
I am basically a majestic gazelle in a pit bull body. I bound around playfully when interacting with other dog, and I have the fun-loving energy of a little kid! Life is FUN! Let me introduce myself… I’m Rayne. I am a year and a half year old American Staffordshire Terrier mix, and this is my 4th (maybe 5th, I lost track) time coming to DCHS as a stray. I could reportedly hop right over the fence in my previous home, and this last time my owner decided not to come claim me. So here I am looking for a new home in an active, loving family. I would LOVE to live with another dog, preferably a larger breed like myself. Kids old enough to handle my exuberance would be great as well! I am a fantastic gal with a goofy wiggle-butt and a great smile that will be sure to put a smile on your face & tug at your heartstrings.

Please check with your homeowners insurance before adopting a ‘bully breed’ such as an American Staffordshire Terrier. Some silly insurance companies buy into the media hype about us dogs being bad. Apparently they have never experienced a sloppy happy Am Staff kiss! ;)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Rayne, a Menomonie American Staffordshire Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier for sale in Menomonie, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier dog from a breeder in Menomonie.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Menomonie already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Menomonie breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Menomonie paves the way for another one to be saved.
