Lobo is a a big sweetheart! He was rescued with several friends from the streets where he was likely dumped by his owner. He loves to be in your lap and can be a bit clingy. He's very smart and picks up commands easily. He's a quieter dog, he doesn't bark very much and only cries when he's by himself. He loves to play fetch! He will need some exercise and plenty of toys in his new home because he tends to tear things up when he's bored (dog bed, toys, brand new box of Swifter pads). Lobo is approximately 5 years old and seeking his forever family. Adoption application and home check required. Contact Jennifer for more info: socaljen83@yahoo.com

About Menifee Valley Humane Society

About Our Rescue Group...

Founded in 1976, we are an all volunteer animal welfare organization that is dependent on the good will and talents of our friends and volunteers. Our focus is to promote community education on responsible pet care and ownership, which is a lifetime commitment--for the life of the pet. Through education, it is our hope that both children and adults will learn the importance of responsible pet care, including spaying and neutering to help solve the problem of pet overpopulation. Everyone can do their part by taking good care of their pet! Since we have no shelter or facility, any animals we rescue and/or take in are cared for in foster homes until permanent homes can be found.

Our Adoption Process...

Interested persons complete an application and if adopting an animal, an adoption contract is completed also. Animals are delivered to new home where all family members including other pets must be present in order to complete adoption. This is to ensure that everyone gets along and to help ensure a successful match and adoption. A followup phone call and visit are made to see how the pet is doing in the new home. All animals are spayed/neutered and up-to-date on vaccinations. Adoption fees vary from $50-$150.
