Frank: brown tabby & white, short hair, male, born approx. 6/1/15, #12468 (bigger, more white) Penelope: brown tabby & white, short hair, female, born approx.. 6/1/156, #12469
Frank and Penelope were living next door to the granddaughter of a very good friend of a Rescue House volunteer. When those neighbors moved out and left Frank and Penelope behind to fend for themselves, she began to feed them; eventually she took the cats in and asked the volunteer for advice and help. The siblings moved into our care to find a good home.
Frank and Penelope are a sweet and complementary pair! They want some time to get to know people and may not immediately come out to say hello to strangers, yet once you are part of the family then they’ll be there asking for attention and romping around. Frank is a big gentle guy who appreciates cheek rubs—and who can resist those cute jowly cheeks of his? He will rub up against you and purr with delight. Penelope is quieter than her brother, and she looks to him to guide the way. Yet she loves to play in boxes and will chase a little ball down the hall. Frank and Penelope MUST be adopted together.
Frank and Penelope do well with other cats, though they may romp a bit too much for the taste of older cats; they are good with cat-friendly dogs once introduced. Older children who will give them a little time to acclimate should be fine though younger and more boisterous ones would not be to their taste.
Frank and Penelope are a gorgeous pair of kitties who just need that last little step to join their forever family. Will you welcome them into your home?
