Here comes Astro, and he’s looking for his forever Elroy Jetson! What a stunning star our Astro is, just take a look at his caring copper eyes and beautiful brown brindled coat, his bob tail even bounces when he gets excited. Astro is ready to play with his very own forever family, and you don’t even have to be a Jetson! He is a fully grown 2 year old Boston Terrier / French Bulldog (we think) boy who weighs about 23 pounds. Astro is already crate and leash trained and is sure to fit in perfectly with your pack, although he won't come with his own jetpack. ;) He is high-spirited and playful and does well when training with treats as his motivator. Astro is highly focused and smart, he would excel with further training and a home who can promote his desire for lots of activity, affection, and attention. He is microchipped, neutered and ready to head your way. Astro is currently on some activity restrictions however, as he has just finished treatment for heartworms. He is already on his recovery ride though and will be healthy as a whip in only a short while. If you think you can be the Jetson for our Astro simply fill out and application to adopt him today!

THIS PET IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE! We do list and adopt our pets nationwide, so distance is not a problem in most areas. We have a variety of transportation options to bring your new family member to you. Typical transport cost to the northeast is $150, but may be less depending on your location (Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA residents.)

A.A.R.F. (All About Rescue and Fixin' Inc.) http://aarf-tn.com/ is a non-profit, 501(c)(3) no kill animal rescue organization located in the Upper Cumberland area of Tennessee. A.A.R.F. is comprised of unpaid volunteers and survives only on public donations. Adoption donations vary and are subject to change without notice. Thank you for thinking adoption first!

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.

Our pets must live primarily indoors, and be adopted to homes who demonstrate their desire to add another family member to their home.
