“Hey, Hey, good lookin’…” newest Buddy, Mr. Teddy, certainly has got a WHOLE lot cookin’ and is ready and waiting to cook something up with YOU—just in time for your Thanksgiving smorgasbord! At just 11 months old and 18 lbs., our handsome heartthrob, surrendered to the Bakersfield Shelter by his owners, is certain to have your house guests swooning all holiday season and every day there after! A gentleman in training in his foster home, Mr. Teddy is working on his housebreak ing skills, but has quickly caught on to sleeping in a toasty warm bed with his foster pack and parents, something completely unknown to him as he previously spent about 20 hours a day outside alone. Teddy was a huge hunky hit at the vet’s office once arriving with Boston Buddies—tugging strong at many staff members’ heartstrings. Good looking with a super-sized soul (one of the best combinations if you ask us), Mr. Teddy is happiest soaking up scratches and sweet kisses, he adores being held, and will cuddle in tight keeping you nice and warm all winter long! I guess you could say he’s making up for lost time! Teddy is completely vaccinated, heart worm and fecal tested (both negative), microchipped, and neutered, but does have epilepsy. Sounds scary we know, but don’t worry! It is managed and maintained with a little medication, just like us humans on high blood pressure meds :) Teddy is on phenobarbital twice a day and has been seizure free since being on his medication and getting the love and TLC he’s been majorly missing from his foster family. Sweet as your special See’s Candy, Mr. Teddy is dog friendly and ok with the cats he’s met on his walks. Our littlest dreamboat is ready for you— ready to be your holiday heartthrob, content to help with all of your holiday cooking, certain to clean up any smorgasbord scraps, longing to lounge with you after your turkey feast; Mr. Teddy is ready to completely and utterly love you for life. If you would like to give Teddy the best birthday gift ever (his birthday is November 29), a family of his very own for forever, please fill out an adoption application on our website here – http://www.bostonbuddies.org/adoption/applications-and-forms/adoption-application/

About Boston Buddies Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

Boston Buddies is a recognized 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing Boston Terriers who are abandoned, neglected or abused and placing them in permanent, loving homes. Our ultimate purpose is to match homeless or potentially homeless Boston Terriers with loving, permanent families specifically interested in the breed. We do not have a brick and mortar kennel facility. Instead, we provide our rescue dogs with temporary foster care in private homes located throughout Southern California where we can assess their personality and preferences. All of our dogs are examined by a vet and provided all necessary medical treatment, vaccinated, spayed or neutered and put on heartworm preventative.

Boston Buddies is always looking for volunteers to help with shelter checks, transport and foster home care. We invite you to visit our website – www.bostonbuddies.org

Our Adoption Process...

Boston Buddies adopts its dogs to loving and caring homes located in Southern California. We do not place our dogs in homes with children under the age of eight. The first step in adopting a Boston Buddy is to submit an Adoption Application which can be downloaded at our website, www.bostonbuddies.org. After a home visit with one of our volunteers and approval of the Application we will arrange meetings with dogs that will be compatible with the approved adopter. An Adoption Application and Adoption Fee is required, as well as follow up visits.
