Sara's Story...
**Sara is currently being fostered in HOUSTON. She is available for out-of-state adoption as well to the perfect family. Her adoption fee is $500, which covers her flight to her new family, a travel kennel, and she is vetted.**

Sara was pulled from the local kill shelter with her two siblings. We believe she is a lab mix, about 3 months old and weighs about 15 lbs.

Sara is the calmest of the siblings but she loves to play and is doing well with her potty training. She has also learned how to use a doggy door. Sara loves to snuggle and is just a cuddle bug!

**Sara is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and doing very well in her foster home. She is ready to find her family to complete her transformation. If our sweet girl sounds like a perfect match for your family, please email us at pawhuggers@gmail.com for more information or to complete an adoption application please go to www.pawhuggers.org, hover over the Adoptables tab and then click on Adoption Application. Her adoption fee is $500 to help cover the cost of her airline flight and her travel crate.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sara, a Bend Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Bend, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Bend.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bend already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bend breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bend paves the way for another one to be saved.
