Sasha is one of the sweetest dogs I've ever met and is happiest when she's cuddled up next to you. Her favorite position to lay in is on her back and it's so adorable. Sasha came into rescue with a broken pelvis, bladder stones and heart worm positive. Her pelvis has healed nicely and with her diet her bladder stones are clearing up as well. Sasha will need to continue her heart worm treatment for around 6 more months or so, the medicine will be provided by the rescue as well as her checkups for it. Heart worms are not contagious to other animals so there's no worry if you have other animals in your home. Sasha is not spayed and due to her heart worms can not be spayed until medically cleared first. Once she is cleared medically to be spayed rescue will cover her surgery. Sasha is being fostered through Good Karma Pet Rescue and her medical treatment is being covered by Merediths Strays Rescue. Sashas foster mother will continue to work with her adoptive family helping with any appointments, obtaining any medicine needed or any other needs until Sasha is 100% cleared medically and her family feels comfortable moving forward without any assistance.

Sasha would love a forever home to call her own where she could get lots of belly rubs, cuddle time and of course lots of love. She gets along with all dogs big or small, she is currently in a foster home with 6 other dogs ranging in size from 10 pounds to 120 pounds and does great with all of them. There's 3 cats and 2 rabbits in her foster home and she does great with them as well. Sasha is very tiny and loves being right at your feet wherever you go so small children would probably not be a good fit for her.

Sasha is about 6 years old and 7-8 lbs.

Adoption fee is $175 and includes DHPP & rabies vaccinations, heartworm testing, spay/neuter surgery, deworming, and microchip. All animals are examined by a veterinarian. Please fill out our application at if you are interested in meeting or adopting this dog and we will be in touch right away!

About Good Karma Pet Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Good Karma Pet Rescue is a small network of foster homes in South Florida dedicated to providing dogs and cats in need with the love and help they need and deserve.

GK was started in 2011 by Stacey Chen, who decided that she could best provide for her foster animals by starting a rescue that aims for best care rather than high volume. We intend to stay as small as we need to be to ensure that every one of our foster animals is treated with the same care and respect we show our own furry family.

GK is based in Fort Lauderdale and is supported by wonderful, dedicated foster parents throughout the South Florida area. If you are interested in helping to save lives through volunteering, fostering, or adopting, please get in touch with us!

Come Meet Our Pets...

We meet potential adopters by appointment only, typically in the foster's or potential adopter's home. Dogs can be arranged to be seen at a local park or a similar location.

Our Adoption Process...

We have a quick but thorough adoption process. We ask you to fill out an application and we will touch base with you by phone. If we feel you are a good fit for the animal you would like to adopt based upon your application, we will want to do a home visit and have you meet the pet. If everything checks out, we will ask that you sign an adoption contract and pay a donation - usually $75 for cats and $150 for dogs. This includes all vetting, spay/neuter, vaccines, etc.

Our contract allows us to come visit you and your new family member after the adoption to make sure everything is going well and your new pet is happy & healthy.
