Miss Kaye has one of those Southern rescue stories that reads like a crime story of trauma and redemption.  This pretty, 2 year old, 45 lb, girl was hit by a car and left by the side of the road to die.  But we know God had another plan for this very special Lab/Whippet mix and someone became her rescue angel and helped her get the medical attention she needed and a foster home where she can get a fresh start and new chapter in her life.  Miss Kaye has come a long way since that day she was left to die on that road.  She beat the dire odds and is now a thriving adult with a curious nature and a very loving demeanor.  She has gained nearly 10 lbs. since coming into foster care in August.  This girl loves to play with toys, other dogs and she also loves cats.  She is very affectionate and likes to lay in a lap and take a nap.  She is a very happy girl that will give you lots of kisses and we think she will do well in a home with any size humans, other dogs or pets.  She does love to run with those long legs but could also take short walks and enjoy lots of playtime.  She loves to talk to you.  She loves to run and comes back when she is called.  Miss Kaye deserves a furever home that will provide her an environment of lasting love and attention.  She is a living legacy and will be a treasure to her new family.  Rescued dogs come with a variety of needs; some behavioral, some emotional, some medical.  When approved applicants rescue these dogs by adopting them, they take on whatever comes with the dog.  This is what it means to rescue.  PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

About Critter Cavalry Rescue New England - VT

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of dedicated rescue people who want to save as many dogs and cats from the local shelters before they are euthanized. On the average....there are only 1 out of 10 animals that get adopted from a shelter. We are dedicated to helping increase pet adoptions by offering a shelter animal a foster home to go to while awaiting an adoptive family to find them on our Petfinder website. Won't you please adopt a shelter animal? Or won't you please help us foster a shelter animal while we are looking for their perfect home? What a gift you can give a dog or cat by giving them a place to feel safe and secure....a forever home or a foster home. Won't you help us at Critter Companion Rescue give them a chance to have a life?

Our Adoption Process...

Most all our dogs are fostered in Tennessee and transport up to the Northeast or New England. Our fees start at $500 and can be higher depending on the dog and circumstances for their vetting. All fees cover the health certificate, transportation up to designated places for families to pick up their pre-adopted dog, spay/neuter, rabies, all shots, fecal and dewormings, microchip, complete vet check up and 4 way heartworm test if dogs are older than 8 months.
