The thing you long for the most is nothing more than a forever family, someone to be with for..well forever. Yet, it is only a dream for everytime you wake up you are still all alone....
Hi, my name is Papa Bear and I am a 2 year old male Great Pyrenees mix. I used to have a home, but somewhere along the road they got tired of me and dumped me. I ended up being on my own for months, there were nights that when I went to sleep I wasn't sure if I was going to wake up the next day. I was very hungry, very skinny, my coat was in shambles, and I wondered if I would ever find hapiness again....if I would ever find a home. I mean, I met people on my travels but they never took me in...never took me off the streets. Finally, by sheer luck I wandered up to this one house and inside lived a super sweet lady and she took me in and contacted this rescue about me!! So in a matter of a few hours, I was no longer hungry, the matts had been cut out of my coat, and I was inside!! I have dogs to play with and a big backyard to romp around in, I have met the cats and am fine with them and when the kids visit I roll over on my back and enjoy the lovings I am getting! I am a super sweet boy and weigh around 56lbs but am underweight and will probably weigh around 70lbs once I am back up to par. My coat is a little bit shaggy right now but since I am getting some good nutrition and no longer have matts in it, it should start coming in and getting fluffier! I am good in the house and love to spend time with my people! I also enjoy giving hugs and have the pyr paw down, I am good in the house and already housebroken.
