Blair's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Blair's Story...
Blair was taken to the shelter at just 10 weeks old and was though to be feral. But her foster mom was willing to take a chance! Come to find out, she is perfectly precious in every way! She is shy around new people and places, but she is the most loving, cuddly, sweetest lap cat if you just give her a chance. She's the perfect mix of cuddly and playful, loves other animals, and would do amazing in any home that would be patient with her shyness. She is fostered in Huntsville, AL, felv/fiv negative, up to date on vaccines, spayed and microchipped! Her adoption fee is just $75 and you can fill out an application for her at www.forrescue.net!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Blair, a Chattanooga Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Chattanooga, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Chattanooga.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chattanooga already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chattanooga breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chattanooga paves the way for another one to be saved.
