United Hope for Animals (UHA) is a volunteer group and does not have a facility for animals. This pet is part of our Shelter Support Program at the Baldwin Park Shelter. For more information about the pet, the adoption process, or our program please contact the Volunteer Adoption Coordinator listed below.
Because animals are adopted/rescued daily, please also check the United Hope for Animals Facebook page to see if an animal is still available OR call the Baldwin Park Shelter at 626-962-3577. When inquiring about an animal, please reference the animal’s ID number. This will enable the volunteer or Baldwin Park employee to locate the status of the pet. Thank you for supporting rescue.

A5012067 Sonny is a snuggly 12-year-old black-with-silver male Chihuahua mix who was found as a stray in Covina on November 15th and brought to the Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Weighing 12 lbs, Sonny seems to have been someone’s cherished pet: he knows how to walk politely on leash and shows signs of being house trained. We don’t know how he ended up stray in his senior years, but he’s eager to find a home where he can hang his hat. Sonny has significant vision impairment, but that doesn’t stop from him from enjoying walks and pets. He has a wonderfully cuddly, tender way of being, and is sure to steal the heart of anyone who appreciates the charm and wisdom of senior dogs.
