Hello, my name is Florence. I am a beautiful, three year old girl looking for my new home. I had a rough past so I'm looking for a new start, with a loving family. I was found with my kittens under a shed in some human's yard. They didn't want us under there, and threatened to drown us. Luckily we were saved by a wonderful person who brought me here! My kittens have all been adopted and I'm hoping my time will come soon. I have been at the shelter since November and I can't f igure out why I haven't gone home yet. I am a very sweet girl who purrs for attention and nudges your hand until you pet me. You can find me in the Library with the other quieter, cats. I was understandably very afraid of people when I first came in. I have warmed up a lot and am starting trust people and enjoy their company. I do great with the other cats in the shelter and my foster said I was a wonderful mother to my babies! I am a sweet and gentle soul just looking for a safe, loving home to call my own. Please come down to the shelter and take the time to meet me, I promise I will do everything I can to repay you.
