Washington's Story...
Are you looking for a little comical relief? Check out this goofy boy Washington. He is a social little kitty. He has the softest buff fur. He loves to be held, cuddled and will purr away laying in your arms.... well until he finds something interesting to pounce on. He loves to run and play and do kitty antics. He is a talker and will answer you when you talk to him. He doesn’t usually want anything – just likes to be heard! He has quite the vocabulary.

Washington gets along wonderfully with kids, cats and would possibly do well with a dog also. He is pretty confident. He loves a good wrestling match with his foster brothers Percy and Pierre. He is just super sweet and adorable. He is very playful and mischievous. Hope your ready for a good laugh.

All adoptable pets have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. For more information about adoption, please contact Camp Companion at 507-951-7801, www.campcompanion.org, or find us on Facebook!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Washington, a Rochester Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Rochester, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Rochester.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Rochester already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Rochester breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Rochester paves the way for another one to be saved.
