Sweet, loyal, lazy and calm are four words that describe Lucky, a 7-year-old, female, yellow Lab. The only times that she is very active is if she sees squirrels and rabbits, or if she is enthusiastically playing fetch. Lucky has had corrective surgery for torn ACLs on both of her back legs so she sometimes gets sore if she overdoes it. She is a very social dog who enjoys the company of children, cats, and other dogs. Lucky is afraid of storms so she hopes to find a home with someone who won’t mind if an 80 lb. dog jumps into bed with them to seek protection and comfort. She also has an interesting quirk: Daisy has a nervous reaction to a cell phone notification and moves away from it. She hopes for a home without many steps because they are difficult for her. Lucky has been very loved in her former home, but she now needs to find a new home due to no fault of her own.
The suggested donation amount for Lucky is $300, which is TAX DEDUCTIBLE, and goes toward providing supportive services to animals in the home, as well as the high cost of vetting our dogs in rescue.
