Call me Momma Mae! I was surrendered to the shelter along with my 10 week old puppies and my 10 month old daughter after my owner passed away suddenly. I have had a lot of puppies in my 4 years of life but now I am spayed so no more babies for me! I am 50 pounds of love and will make a wonderful addition to my new home. The one caveat is that I prefer to be an only dog so I can get all of your love and attention. But don’t let that worry you! I will give you all the love you could ever want right back! I would love nothing more than a home & a couch of my own! I get so excited when my Foster Humans come home that I do the wiggle butt dance! I’m fairly low energy but I do like to play ball. OH and my Foster Mom says that after I am done playing ball I snore like a Peterbilt Truck! I think you humanoids usually find that pretty funny! Did I mention I also tend to sleep with my eyes open? Weird, right? I enjoy a nice stroll and have been doing quite well with leash training. I am working on other manners like sitting before receiving my meals and treats. That about sums me up! If you are the forever home I am looking for please don’t wait and apply today! I can’t wait to wiggle my way into your heart!

About Companion Pet Rescue & Transport of New England

About Our Rescue Group...

CPR was formed in 2004 to assist unwanted pups and dogs with finding a new home. We rescue our pups from high kill shelters in TN, AR, MS, LA and TX. Without the dedication of the staff and volunteers of these shelters and without the assistance of CPR, the pups posted on our website would not be rescued. Before partnering with CPR, these shelters had euthanasia rates of 95%. We've reduced the euthanasia rate in all shelters by at least 50%. We rescue and rehome 200+ pups and dogs each month. We accomplish this task with the help of an awesome hard working and dedicated staff and volunteer base. Also helping us to accomplish what seems at times to be a thankless and overwhelming job is our pure and selfless love of dogs! We truly believe that rescue + rehoming = true love. <3
