So… you’re looking for a dog,but not just any dog, you’re looking for a smart dog….look no further, Ruby is your gal! Ruby is a Red Heeler (Australian Cattle Dog)/ Australian Shepherd  Mix who is as smart a dog as they come. This girl is only 5 months old and can already sit, shake, and knows her name and comes as soon as she’s called. Ruby has also been mastering her crate and house training skills in her foster home. She would be very easily trained and will make an excellent dog for anyone willing to give her a good go. Granted Ruby’s breed mix she will likely be an exceptional worker, and will be in need of some sort of job to do in her new home. This could be daily runs or lots of room to play and social interaction. Smart and stunning is her game and she is certainly winning at it with her marvelous red merle and gorgeous  green eyes, and brains for days! If you could see yourself working well with our gal Ruby, just fill out an application to adopt her now! Ruby will be available on December 1st.

We have a variety of transportation options to bring your new family member to you. Typical transport cost to the northeast is $150, but may be less depending on your location (Due to interstate adoption regulations, we are not able to adopt to RI and MA residents.)

Prior to adoption, all canines and felines are spayed or neutered, have received their age appropriate vaccinations, have been de-wormed for common parasites, and have received treatment for prevention of fleas and ticks. All canines over the age of 6 months have been tested for heartworm. All canines are put on heartworm prevention as soon as possible - this means dogs as soon as they are tested negative. Puppies are put on prevention immediately. All felines, regardless of age, have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV. Each animal receives a health check by a licensed veterinarian prior to adoption. Anything else found will be treated by our organization prior to adoption.
