Buster's Story...

Buster was an owner surrender at no fault of his own. Buster likes to go for walks and is getting pretty good on the leash. His favorite thing in the world is a tennis ball. If he could his perfect day would have him playing fetch with his best friend all day.  He is friendly with people he knows and seems to get along with most dogs around the Ranch. If you would like to meet this handsome fella please give us a call at (530)842-0829 or come on by the Ranch from 12-4 everyday.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Buster, a Yreka Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Yreka, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Yreka.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yreka already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yreka breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yreka paves the way for another one to be saved.
