My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Please help find a forever home for Dudley by considering him for your family, or sharing him with any friends/family looking for a dog.

Dudley is sweet, loving, and a great listener. His foster mom says he is a dream dog - he loves all other dogs that he has met, enjoys playing, swimming, fetching a ball and even going out on boats. He tends to ignore cats and has been around horses without issue. His foster mom reports that he is potty-trained and respectful of the house when left at home.

Dudley was rescued from a terrible situation where he was emaciated, had pneumonia that was not being treated, and was completely broken-spirited. When we rescued him, he would hide in the corner and not look at anyone. A few months later, Dudley has transformed. He loves his people, cuddling and being included in errands, yard work and daily life.

Dudley will do best with a person who really loves dogs and will be attentive to his sensitive spirit. Dudley is a bit more cautious with men than women, and needs someone who will continue introducing him to friendly people. We are confident that Dudley will continue progressing and will begin to need less paw-holding. Dudley does spook easily, but runs to his person and seems to feel better immediately after being told everything is okay.

Dudley is neutered, up to date on vaccines, microchipped and will have an adoption fee to go towards what was spent to get him healthy.

Thanks!!
