My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Buster is a young male believed to be almost 1 year. He currently lives in a home with multiple dogs, cats and teenagers. Buster loves running around and playing with the other dogs. He has not had direct contact with the cats so that is still unknown. Buster's favorite toys are ball and tug toys. He has lots of energy and is looking for an active family. Working well on sit, paw (shake) and down commands. House broken, does not care for the crate. Prefers to sleep on beds, preferably with a human companion. Has been very friendly with all house guests and dogs.
He's smart & very trainable. Needs a big space as he is a big dog - probably 60-70 lbs. He would love to live with an active family & another dog. Loves to play & needs lots of exercise. Needs to work on some manners, but is learning quickly. He is vocal when he needs to go out, or he wants to play, or no one is giving him attention. A large fenced-in yard should be a requirement. Easy going personality. Does well in the car. Really nice guy.
If interested in adopting, please visit www.masrescue.org and click on "Adopt Here". The adoption fee is $250.00. Please Note: 100% of all the adoption fees collected are used to care for the animals, and pay our ever increasing vet bill. We appreciate your interest in adopting from a rescue organization. We understand the desire to meet our "cuties" as soon as possible, but because we operate entirely out of foster homes, we need to limit visitation to approved applicants only. Once your completed application is submitted by you and approved by MASR, we will be glad to schedule your visit. This dog has been examined by our vet, spayed or neutered (if not previously done), vaccinations updated, heartworm negative, and has been microchipped. Breed Selection is 'Best Efforts' given by shelter staff, veterinarians and rescue volunteers. NO guarantees are implied. Dogs benefit greatly from Obedience Training - and we encourage you to check out http://www.pupsdogobediencetraining.com/ . They offer a great discount for training of dogs coming from MAS Rescue! Please note that small breeds are not well designed for families with young children as everything about them is more delicate and will require careful handling. Remember adoption is a commitment for the lifetime of your new furry friend; dogs could live 15 years or more!!
