Simon, also known as The Sy Guy, is an adorable 5 year old neutered male cat I adopted last year. He is an absolutely lovely cuddlebug, an ever so mellow fellow. Loves the dogs. Loves everyone he meets. Except my two senior cats. Hence my dilemma. Running water is one of his favorite things, whether it's the kitchen sink faucet or the morning shower. Like the Turkish Van, he loves to come into the shower and perch on the bench, leaving only when the shower is over. Simon is a very special guy who would stay here forever were it not that my 17-year old cat is afraid to come in the house and winter is coming on. He is an indoor-only cat and, and while a door left open is a temptation, he does not press to go outside. He is very affectionate without being pushy, although he is a master of cat-creep. You will look down, see him in your lap, and wonder how and when he got there. Because he is so sweet, I have procrastinated in seeking just the right home for him. But I owe it to my senior cats who want to come back into the house, especially as the weather is turning colder. Might you be the right person for Simon?
