Jill and her brother are gorgeous 7 month-old Great Pyrenees pups who were turned into an overcrowded county dog shelter by their owners who could no longer care for them. They are not only beautiful dogs but have kind and gentle dispositions as well. Everyone who has met them has been impressed with what nice dogs they are! We do want to place them together since they seem to be quite attached to each other. Jill weighs about 45 pounds currently but is expected to be 90+ when she’s full-grown. She’s doing well in her foster home with crate-training and housetraining so should pick up the routines in her new home quickly. We are looking for an adopter who has previous experience with the breed as Great Pyrenees are dogs like no others. If you’re interested in learning more about the breed, please click on this link from the National Pyr Rescue (https://www.nationalpyr.org/know-the-breed). Jill’s adoption fee is $200. She’s spayed, heartworm negative and on monthly preventative, up to date on vaccinations, wormed, on flea preventative, and microchipped. All Canine Lifeline adoptions come with a two-week trial period to make sure it’s a great match before the adoption is finalized. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org if you’re interested in Jill and Jack. An approved application is required before we set up meets with any of our dogs. We try to respond to inquiries within 24-48 hours so if you haven’t heard from us within that time frame, please check your junkmail or spam folder to make sure our reply hasn’t landed in there.
