Hi! I’m Hamilton. I was brought to animal control with my family when we were left behind in an apartment. I am quite a character. I act a little shy when you first walk into the room, but I really, really want to be held. So I do a little dance around in circles and drag my legs behind me until I feel like I can trust you. It’s pretty funny to watch. My sister Scarlet is very shy, so I take care of her and we’re hoping we will find someone with a big heart to take us both in. We sleep curled up together and Scarlet really counts on me to be the brave older brother. I get her back by eating her food while she’s not looking. I’m still a little nervous about people, but I think dogs and other cats are no big deal. There is a Chihuahua in my foster home who is kind of fun to play with. I hope you’ll come and meet me in my foster home. Call Molly at 651-295-3758 or email outreach@felinerescue.org.

NOTE: In the interest of serving as many cats as possible, Feline Rescue occasionally promotes cats being taken care of by our friends and supporters. The cat(s) in this posting are NOT Feline Rescue cats and any adoption that may occur is an arrangement strictly between two independent parties.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
