My name is Scarlet. I am living with my brother Hamilton in a foster home right now. I was brought into animal control with the rest of my family when someone abandoned us in an apartment. My brother is my rock and I’m really hoping that someone will want to adopt both of us. I sleep curled up with him and I watch him all the time to see if he thinks we are safe. I am scared of people, but I am watching how Hamilton sits on people’s laps and gets pet, and I’m thinking it looks pretty good. I am starting to trust people more, and even starting to play with toys and come lay on the sofa near my foster mom, which she thinks it pretty cool. Although I’m nervous about humans, I think other cats and dogs are okay. I hope you’ll come meet me in my foster home. I might hide, but Hamilton will check you out and if he thinks you’re okay, so will I. Call Molly at 651-295-3758 or email outreach@felinerescue.org.

About Feline Rescue, Inc.

Our Adoption Process...

By adopting a Feline Rescue cat you will be supporting a caring, no-kill shelter and making room for one more homeless cat. We are always looking for good, safe, loving homes for our many cats and kittens. We want to be sure placements are a success for both parties, so before we send our feline friends home with anyone, we ask you to fill out a basic questionnaire. Since we work with cats everyday we will be able to suggest a perfect match to your needs. If a sponsorship fits your schedule better, you may support a cat of your choice and we will send you pictures and updates. All of our cats are feline leukemia/FIV tested, fecal tested, neutered/spayed, vaccinated and all of our kittens are vet checked, fecal checked and given their first set of shots. All receive high-quality veterinary care and exams. We charge an adoption fee to offset these costs. Adoption Hours: We are open seven days a week for adoptions, but our hours do vary because we are staffed entirely by volunteers. Call (651) 642-5900 for specific times and more information.
