Meet Cheff and Smidge (friends of the puppy 'Troll family')
**Attention - Smidge LOOKS irish wolfhound BUT she is much, much smaller and a complete stray so we have NO idea if she has that breed, we go by her PHYSICAL looks.
Update as of 1/7/17 -
Cheff and Smidge were separated as they are undesocialized and were not bonding with people. Once they were separated, ARWOB worked first with Cheff, who was thankfully adopted by a wonderful family during Christmas. They were looking for his type of personality...someone they could help and work with. Chefs was a very timid dog who would shiver and act afraid of people or around people. However, he never tried to nip or bite anyone and was very gentle submissive and calm. He loves other dogs and did great with cats.
Smidge is currently with her original rescuer family in Mexicali as too much change has happened and we want to make sure we have a foster family who can work with her before we make arrangements for transport to San Diego. The foster in Mexicali reports she, too, had a hard time adjusting once she and Cheff were separated. Currently, they do not have other dogs in the home so that could be part of the changes. Smidge is also a gentle yet playful girl who is also timid and insecure around people, but she does seek attention from her current foster family.
At this time, we are hoping to get Smidge to San Diego soon to get mor information about her and her personality. If you are interested in fostering or adopting her, please file an application TODAY! This girl deserves the love which had been missing in her life and a chance to have a forever family of her own.
If you would like to meet one of our animals, PLEASE fill out an adoption application.
