Tiggie's Story...
Meet Tiggie! This handsome boy will absolutely melt your heart. His giant paws (and pointy ears) indicate he will be a big kitty, but his heart is just as big. He is a total love bug and wants nothing more than to cuddle when he is tuckered out. You can hold him like a baby. Tiggie doesn't have a shy bone and likes meeting new people and furry friends! Although he is a big boy, he has a tiny, pitiful meow and will talk to you. He would love to be adopted with his sister Butterscotch, but will also do great with any furry friend. Tiggie would make the PURFECT addition to any home.

All HART kittens and cats are vet checked, combo tested, spayed or neutered, up to date on all vaccines, microchipped, and on flea and tick preventative.

If you are interested in any of our kitties, you must complete an online cat adoption application - Click Here. The application will put you in touch with this wonderful cat's foster family so you can schedule a meeting. Thanks!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiggie, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
