Bella Burgundy is a 7 month old, 45 lbs, black Labrador female puppy that still has some growing to do and lots of fun times ahead as she learns all about life. This girl was rescued from a Craigslist posting and the fear of her ending up in a fighting ring as a bait dog was the motivator.
This family did all the right things for Bella Burgundy and now they realize that she needs some focused attention from a family that does not have two working adults and other dogs that need their time too. This pretty girl has all the bells and whistles and is a housetrained, happy puppy looking for her forever home. She will need a fenced yard or someone who will take her jogging every day. An active family or individuals that will spend a lot of time with her and take her to training and fun activities. Being a Lab, she loves to play with sticks and returns the balls for more play and running. She also loves to dig, so either you have room where it does not matter, or give her a designated area for it. She barks when the doorbell rings, a good watchdog as long as the door is closed. If a new person enters the home then he gets covered by doggie kisses. Bella Burgundy loves to go for car ride and she jumps right in and is ready to go. She is still not great on a leash. She needs someone to spend time on that with her.She sits really well and takes her treats nicely from your hand and she is crate trained. She is OK loose at night to choose her own place to sleep but is crated during the day while the family is working. We think she will be a 65 pound girl when fully grown.
