Maxie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, purebred, up to date with shots, not good with kids, not good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maxie's Story...
Maxie is available for adoption. She is a 1 yr old Silky Terrier. She is spayed, micro-chipped and up to date on shots. She loves people and is very friendly. She is a licker. In her foster home Maxie has become protective of her foster mom and if she is sitting on her foster mom's lap and another dog or a small child approaches, Maxie will growl. We have decided Maxie will do best in a home with no small children or another dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maxie, a Williamsburg Silky Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Silky Terrier for sale in Williamsburg, or seeking a Silky Terrier dog from a breeder in Williamsburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Williamsburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Williamsburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Silky Terrier breeders who help with Silky Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Williamsburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
