Adam's Story...
Talk about a COOL cat! Adam is 100% Love Bug. He is real big on scratches and belly rubs. He enjoys being with people, his cage not so much! He even loved this penguin costume and all the attention it got him. Isn't he cute? Come by and give this guy a good pet - and a good home while you're at it! For the month of November, all adult cats are $50! Our fee includes full vetting and neutering. Adam is approximately 3 - 4 years old, neutered, and current on his vaccines. If you are interested in adopting this handsome boy, call the shelter at 757-365-6318 or email us at animalservices@isleofwightus.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Adam, a Windsor Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Windsor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
