Donald's Story...
Donald is a 4 - 5 month old kitten that is full of curiosity and fun. Doesn't he have the cutest tabby markings? He came in with a sibling who we originally thought was a girl and had named Hillary. We have since found out Hillary is a male. They share a similar personality. They had come in a little timid but have opened up so much in a very short amount of time. Donald is neutered and current on his vaccines.
Kittens are two for the price of one November only! That's two kittens for $75! Come on in and adopt, and if you are interested in adopting the siblings, just mention Hillary and Donald and we will set you up with a pair of really adorable brothers. Call the shelter at 757-365-6318 or email us at animalservices@isleofwightus.net!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Donald, a Windsor Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Windsor, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Windsor.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Windsor already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Windsor breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Windsor paves the way for another one to be saved.
