Hello my future friend I've been looking for you! My name is Roxy a 2 year old Hound mix that is available for adoption at Helping Hands. . I am ready to be your dog. I really hope you stop in and see me soon. HEIGHT: 19" at the shoulder WEIGHT: 46lbs. HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO I NEED? If you have a physically active lifestyle, I am the perfect dog for you. I have loads of energy and am looking for a family that can use that energy in positive ways. I'll do best in a home that has plenty of room and a fenced yard. Daily exercise and obedience training will help make me a happy, well-mannered dog. DO I HAVE ANY SPECIAL TOYS? Oh yes I love toys! Any toys will be great because I love them all! DO I KNOW ANY TRICKS? I'm not sure that I know any tricks right now. With a little bit of training and patience, you'd be amazed what I can learn. AM I A GOOD INSIDE DOG? I'm looking for a patient family who will teach me to go to the bathroom outside. I would love to live inside with you, though, so we can spend plenty of quality time together. Don't be afraid to crate me when you aren't home. DO I LIKE CATS? I haven't been around cats while here at shelter so ask your adoption counselor to do a cat test to make sure we get along. DO I LIKE CHILDREN? I can be a little jumpy and need some work with training. I will do best in a home without small children. DO I LIKE OTHER DOGS? I haven't had many chances to play with other dogs here in the shelter. It would be best to bring in any canine friends from home to meet me to make sure that we'll be the best of friends. Thank you for reading about me. I have lots of energy, so I need a family who can help me put that energy to good use. I would love a daily walk, plenty of chew toys, and some obedience training. I have the potential to be a great dog, and I need a family who can see that potential and is willing to work with me to achieve it! If you're looking for a long-term companion, I have many happy years ahead of me, and I would love to share them with you. Please ask to visit with. Love Roxy.
