Facts about Penny
Breed: Domestic Shorthair
I am already spayed.
Hello there, my name is Penny. I am one of many cats available for adoption at Helping Hands Humane Society. I'm waiting patiently for my furrever family to come find me. HOW DID I COME INTO HHHS? Sadly this is not my first stay here at the shelter. I was adopted but it just didn't work out. I was first brought in by a friendly stranger that found me and brought me to Helping Hands. I have not fully opened up to this new environment. As I get to know the people I open up and became such a loving cat. I would love a home where people just give me lots of love and are willing to work with my shyness. HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO I NEED? I am still a rather young cat and would love someone that has lots of toy and time to play with me. The more active you keep me the happier, healthier and better behaved I will be. HOW MUCH GROOMING DO I NEED? Since I am a short hair cat I do not require much grooming, I usually can take care of it myself. But I the occasional brush would not be discouraged. AM I AN INDOOR OR OUTDOOR CAT? I would love to be an inside cat. I have grow accustomed to the cushy life of a house cat. DO I LIKE OTHER CATS? I am currently living in a colony with many other cats and we are getting along well. Though I do not like it of other cats get in my face to much. I would do best with another cat that is happy to coexist and won't want me to cuddle with them. DO I LIKE DOGS? I'm not sure if I like dogs. I have not socialized with many in my time here. If you have canine family at home I will do my best to try and get along with everyone. AM I GOOD WITH CHILDREN? I would do best in a quieter home. Children are a little scary to me I need a home that will give me time and space to adjust to my new environment. I would love for you to bring the whole family into meet me before going home.
