Woof my name is Mia, a Pit Bull here at Helping Hands. I am a great girl but even though I am cute as a button I will take some work as I adjust into my new home. Don't get me wrong, we will have a lot of fun in the meantime but I will need time to understand what's expected of me. Here is some information about me. Hope to see you soon!
HOW DID I COME INTO HHHS? I came into the shelter on 09/01/16 because I was lost and the nice animal control brought me here it is ok the nice staff is helping me find my forever home.
HEIGHT: 21" at the shoulder WEIGHT: 33lbs
HOW MUCH EXERCISE DO I NEED? I'm still pretty young, and the breeds I'm mixed with are smart and active, so I would love an active family who can give me lots of exercise. Different activities will keep my brain and body busy in a healthy, nondestructive way. I would love to go to training classes with my new best friend.
DO I HAVE ANY SPECIAL TOYS? Oh yes I love toys! Any toys will be great because I love them all!
AM I A GOOD INSIDE DOG? I'm a puppy, so I'm looking for a patient family who will teach me to go to the bathroom outside. I would love to live inside with you, though, so we can spend plenty of quality time together. Don't be afraid to crate me when you aren't home.
DO I LIKE CATS? I haven't been around cats while here at shelter so ask your adoption counselor to do a cat test to make sure we get along.
DO I LIKE CHILDREN? I should do well in any home but I do encourage you to bring in the whole family to visit make sure it's a right match.
DO I LIKE OTHER DOGS? I haven't had much of a chance to interact with other dogs while I've been here. Make sure to bring your canine family in with you to meet me to make sure we get along.
Thank you for reading about me. I really just want to settle down and be with my family. If you think we might be a perfect match I'd love to meet you soon. I will show you how sweet of a girl I really am. Love Mia.
