Hey everybody!  My name is Major.  My foster mom calls me Major-Minor, and a whole bunch of other stuff, making fun of my name.  It’s ok though, I know that she loves me, no matter what she calls me.  I’m a sweet boy of almost 6 years old.  I live in a house with quite a few other dogs, but most of them are boys, and I’m much more a fan of the ladies.  Gladly there’s one old girl that lives there that I can hang out with, but she’s pretty boring.  I’m somewhat of an introvert when it comes to other dogs, so it takes me a while to come around, even to the lady dogs.

I LOVE to chew on toys and “kill” them, so foster mom says that super durable toys are a must have for me.  She gives me lots of Benebones (my FAVORITE) and Kong toys, but even those don’t always last.  I’m a master at playing tug, and sometimes will even let the humans win the game.  I also love going on long walks, playing fetch, though I don’t always play fair (if I’m being honest), and playing with my “indestructiball.”

Foster mom says that I have to list all the things that I know how to do, so here it is.  I’m crate trained and fully house trained.  I know sit, down, stay (but that’s a hard one), roll over, shake, touch, speak, and probably some other things that I just can’t think of right now.  My leash manners are……suitable…….but I’m a short, strong little dude and sometimes I forget that my humans don’t have as much fun being pulled around as I do pulling them around.  Once I remember that, I’m a pretty good walking buddy.

Anyway, that’s enough about me for now.  If you want to know anything else, my foster mom can fill you in on all the details.  She’s always telling me what a cool guy I am, so you’re sure to love me, I’m sure!!!!  OH!!  And I have a song named after me.  (Foster dad will have to tell you about that one though.)

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption fees are typically $150 but vary based on age of dog. Dogs will receive vaccinations appropriate for their age, they will be microchipped and spayed/neutered prior to adoption. To adopt a dog from us, an application form needs to be completed, a home visit is required and an adoption agreement is signed.
