This cutie is Ellie. We don't know exactly what she is, but think she is some kind of Terrier mix. She's about 8 months old. Ellie is a very friendly, active puppy. She loves other dogs and wants to play with them non-stop. She also likes to fetch her toys and go on walks. Ellie would love a fenced yard as she loves to run around. Ellie also likes her lap time, but only when she's ready to relax or take a nap. She is doing great on her housebreaking and keeps her crate clean at night. While getting better the longer she's in her foster home, Ellie is not great about coming when she's called when she's busy outside. Therefore she'll need a home where she's not at risk of escaping the yard or house. Ellie is spayed, microchipped and current on her vaccines and Heartworm preventative. Her adoption fee is $225. For more information or to request an application, please contact Andrea, her foster mom at foster.puppies@hotmail.com or 913-406-9840.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ellie, a Overland Park Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) for sale in Overland Park, or seeking a Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) dog from a breeder in Overland Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Overland Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Overland Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) breeders who help with Terrier (Unknown Type, Small) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Overland Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
