Dexter is about 4 1/2 months old as of November, 2016 and doesn't look like he will be a large boy. This boy came to us from the Country of Oman which is west of Saudi Arabia. There are no Animal Controls or laws to protect the homeless dogs of this country. So, their solution is to send the police to shoot and kill them when a complaint is called in. Most of the dogs in this Country can be mixed with Saluki, Whippet, Shepherd or Indian Pariah Dog. There is one rescue group there called Omani Paws which tries to help every dog they can. Dexter loves to be with his human and gets along with other dogs. He loves to follow you around to see what you are up too and also loves to talk. He was doing well with crate training in his foster home which should be continued in his new home for house training. This boy also has a lovely curled tail as all of the dogs that we have helped rescue from this Country usually do. He would make a great addition to any type of active family. Dexter is neutered and current on shots, heartworm and flea prevention.
