Facts about Bubbles

  • Breed: Domestic Shorthair
  • Color: Brown Tabby
  • Age: Senior
  • Sex: Female
  • Hair: Short
DOB June 16, 2008.

Bubbles is very sweet, very petite cat (she is under seven pounds!). She has huge eyes and little pencil legs. She is a bit timid, but adapts well to her surroundings. She loves to have a "place" or chair of her own where she may sleep. She likes to play, but only seems to like the "Cat Dancer" toy at the moment.

Bubbles is fairly aloof towards other cats. She was scared of first of them, but now is rather indifferent towards them. She would do well by her self, or with other friendly or indifferent cats. She would thrive in a low activity environment as she is not to thrilled with strangers/noises.

She is a little beggar - she loves to beg for food, and she loves all sorts of foods and treats; this is the way to her heart. Bubbles is a bit reluctant to come to you, but will spend time once there if you pet her.

Bubbles has had dental work and is now a very happy lady, and is overall very cute and sweet.

Bubbles foster family shares: "Bubbles is a great girl. She was very shy when we got her, and when she was allowed out of the bedroom. But now she hates being in there and demands to be in the living room and on her fave chair.". Adopt this sweet, sweet, big-eyed girl today!

Thank you for welcoming a senior cat into your family - an adoption fee of your choice is appreciated versus our standard adoption fee of $175.

About Toronto Cat Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Toronto Cat Rescue is a registered, no-kill charity run by volunteers.

Our mission is to rescue and find homes for abandoned, sick or injured cats from situations of abuse, neglect or imminent euthanasia.

Our vision is for Toronto to be a city in which no adoptable cat is killed and rescue organizations such as Toronto Cat Rescue are no longer needed.

Our registered charity number: 889-198-727-RR-0001

Our Adoption Process...

Decided on the cat or kitten you would like to adopt? Please call 416-538-8592, or email adopt@torontocatrescue.ca.

An adoption counsellor will return your call and give you more details about the cat you are interested in and ask some questions about your home to make sure the cat will be a "purr-fect" fit. We are happy to answer any questions you may have as well.

You will be supplied with the foster home address to have a meet and greet with your kitty. If both parties are happy, you can sign the TCR Contract of Adoption, pay the adoption fee and take your cat home with you in a safe carrying case.

Adoption fee is $175 per cat. This ensures that the cats that come into our care receive the attention they need, are spayed or neutered, and receive a rabies vaccination at the appropriate age. It includes 6 weeks of free pet insurance. For City of Toronto residents, the adoption fee includes a mandatory City of Toronto cat license that is valid for one year. As you can imagine, these fees only begin to cover our costs; donations and ongoing fundraising efforts carry us the rest of the way!

Note:

1. ALL senior cats (8 years or older) have an adoption fee of the adopters choice, vs. our standard adoption fee of $175.

2. Our adoption fee for a bonded pair is $100 per cat, vs. $175 per cat.
