Hamilton's Story...
Hamilton (male--tan and white) and Harlyn (female--red) are siblings that one of our volunteers watched be dumped by a truck in their neighborhood! These poor babies ran after their owner as they drove away! They are believed to be lab mix around 9-12 months old! They are happy and playful pups! Harlyn is a little timid but she's extremely sweet and comes around quickly! They love other dogs but will chase cats! They have been started on house and kennel training! They will be fully utd, hw tested, altered and ready for their forever homes on 11/23!

THEY ARE NOT BONDED AND DO NOT HAVE TO BE ADOPTED TOGETHER!

All dogs have a $150 adoption fee which includes vet check, age appropriate shots (atleast 2 sets for puppies), dewormer, heartworm test (if over 6 months), rabies (if atleast 16 weeks) and spay/neuter!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hamilton, a Grand Bay Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) for sale in Grand Bay, or seeking a Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Grand Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Retriever (Unknown Type)/Hound (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
