Hello?  Is someone reading this?  My name is Frank.  I am writing this letter hoping that just the right person will read this… you see, I need to find a new family.
I am writing you from the Providence Animal Center.  Everyone is very nice here, but all the strange dogs scare me.  I felt a little bit less afraid when my son was with me, but my boy got adopted, and now I am here all alone.  We came together from a very crowded and loud shelter nearby.  It was good when he was with me; we could stay in our kennel together and snuggle when we felt scared.  The walls echo with the noises of other dogs. I just want to go home.
When I am not in the shelter, I am curious, sometimes excited and energetic, sometimes afraid, always eager to be around someone comforting, whether it be my people or another doggy friend.  My friends here tell me that I would do best in a home that gives me mental and physical exercise, that can provide me the stability of a routine, and ideally that would provide me with a companion much of the time.  I know some dogs like to be left home alone to sleep all day, but not me!  I may be an adult, I am certainly not old yet, and I have better things to do than nap!  And as I have mentioned, I grow very attached, so I get lonely.  If you can give me a home like that, I promise to love you with the utmost loyalty, lots of kisses, and maybe even some hugs.  I’ll learn whatever you teach me.  And I’ll do my very best to be a very good boy.
Please, if you’re reading this and you think you might be my person, please stop by to meet me!  Spend some time with me and I’ll show you just how affectionate and caring I can be!

Providence Animal Center is funded solely by adoption fees and donations. Adoption fees vary per animal, please call the Adoption Center and reference this animal's ID number in order to obtain accurate fee information. The system requires that we choose a predominant breed or breed blend for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed blend. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

To foster or adopt this dog please call Providence Animal Center at 610-566-1370 during adoption hours. You may also email Can't foster or adopt? Donate to help our homeless pets,

All family members living in the home are required to meet the animal prior to adoption approval.
