I am a loving and energetic 2-year-old. I love playing with my foster brother and my humans. Because I am so small (18 pounds) I can run faster than him and crawl under things he can’t HAHA! Small squeaky stuffed toys, racing, and belly rubs are my favorite things in the whole world. I also love to cuddle with my foster mom in her chair or in bed at night. She tells me I am a great foot warmer and watch dog!

I enjoy going on walks but I need more practice at walking calmly, there is soooooo much to see and smell. Being on a chain outside scares me but I do really well in a very secure fenced in yard. I like being around people and get real lonely when left alone. I let you know my dislike when I am. I am crate trained and do alright for short periods of time if you play “classic rock” for me to keep me company. I am pretty picky at what food I like and also don’t like other animals around while I eat so my foster mom puts me in my crate while I eat and everyone is happy.

So if you are looking for a loving, absolutely gorgeous shadow to be your best friend for many years I’m willing to fill the position.

About Midwest Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare - Western PA

About Our Rescue Group...

BREW Midwest is the midwest region of BREW Inc. (Beagle Rescue, Education and Welfare). We are a network of volunteers and foster homes across Western PA, OH, MI, IN and IL.

Our Mission:
*Rescue beagles in danger of euthanasia from shelters
*Help beagles that have been removed from neglectful or abusive situations
*Educate families about beagles and their special qualities
*Find kind, loving families for homeless or abandoned beagles.

BREW is dedicated to rescuing and re-homing beagles. The main focus is beagles in shelters that are faced with imminent extermination. BREW works with shelters and animal control facilities and adopt beagles to families throughout our region. In addition to our rescue efforts, BREW is dedicated to increasing public awareness of pet overpopulation and encouraging pet owners to spay and neuter their pets. Towards that end, no beagle over six months of age is adopted from BREW without being spayed or neutered. BREW also works to alert people about the disadvantages of purchasing pets from a "pet store."
