CAPPY NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!!

Name: Cappy    Breed: Lab Mix

Approximate Age: 1 year old     SEX: Female

Approximate Weight: 40 lbs.

Has Lived With: other dogs

Currently Living at:  A cold and scary shelter in South Carolina. Cappy is looking for a foster home, or even better yet, a FUR-ever home

Special adoption considerations: None

Hi everyone my name is Cappy!  I'm a fun loving lab mix that cannot wait to find my FUR-ever home. I am approximately 1 year old and weight about 40 lbs.

I do not know how I ended up in a cold scary shelter in South Carolina, but I am dreaming of finding my fur-ever home!  I would love to go on long walks, trips to the dog park, and maybe even doggy daycare, and of course, cuddling up with you on the couch.

Lab mixes can have a lot of energy, so Cappy would love a lot of exercise, and she might make a good running buddy.

Cappy is very kind, energetic and affectionate towards everyone, and is great with other dogs.  She would be a great addition to an existing pack or happy to soak up all the attention as an only dog!

We haven’t had a chance to see how she interacts with kids or cats yet, so if you have them just let us know, and we’ll do our best to find out!

All she needs is a caring person or family to give her all the love, care (and treats!) she deserves!

Like most shelter dogs, Cappy may need to work on her housetraining.  She is likely crate trained.  She will also need to go to obedience classes to get lots of treats for doing good things like sitting and growing into a well-socialized dog.

The adoption fee for this dog is $350, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter. If you are interested in adopting, please download our Adoption Questionnaire and email it to Donna at donnao@luckydoganimalrescue.org!

About Lucky Dog Animal Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is a group of highly motivated and highly dedicated volunteers. We spend countless hours making sure that wonderful dogs find loving forever homes. We don't do it for money -- we do it for the joy a dog can bring to its new family; we do it for our love of animals; and we do it to save lives!

Come Meet Our Pets...

Our adoption events are held each weekend. A schedule of times and locations can be found at www.luckydoganimalrescue.org.

Our Adoption Process...

The adoption process begins when you submit an adoption application either online or at an adoption event. The individual responsible for the dog you are interested in adopting - a position we call the “adoption coordinator” - will then set up a time to discuss your application over the telephone. The adoption coordinator will check your vet reference to make sure all current and past pets were kept up-to-date with their shots and medical care. The adoption coordinator will also set up a home visit with one of our trained volunteers. That individual will come to your home to ensure that it is a safe environment, to confirm that everyone in the home is on board with adopting a dog, and to discuss any other questions you may have about dog adoption!
